Stainless steel crowns provide an ideal seal in children with high caries activity, preventing the tooth from decaying again. They are manufactured in different sizes and are adjusted to the tooth by the dentist and fixed to the tooth with adhesive.

They are quite durable materials, the possibility of breaking and falling is very low compared to a filling.

Although their metal appearance is a disadvantage, it is tolerable in our patients because we prevent decay. When it is time for the permanent tooth to erupt, stainless steel crowns are separated from the mouth with the milk tooth, and do not require a separate removal process.
